Warriors WrapUp: Grizzlies hammer Golden State 110-89

Going to try to start posting things like this more frequently. Below is a link to “Warriors WrapUp” on 95.7-FM The Game from Saturday night’s game. The Memphis Grizzlies pounded the Warriors 110-89 in Memphis, which snapped Golden State’s eight-game road winning streak.

Here are just a few of the topics:

–How the Memphis Grizzlies are the same but different. They really looked like an interesting team. The still have their “core 4” of Mike Conley, Tony Allen, Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol but they’ve added some youth and athleticism which gives them another dimension.

–Steph Curry is in the middle of a shooting slump. He’s connecting on “only” 39.4 percent from beyond the arc, which would be a career-low by far. Is this something to worry about or are we talking blip on the radar.

–Andre Iguodala missed the Memphis game — along with Zaza Pachulia and it seemed like he was missed. Was it a coincidence that the Warriors committed a season-high 23 turnovers in the same game Golden State was missing its best assist-to-turnover guy (Iguodala 6-to-1).
